Today

This year's visiting season starts on May 1, 2024, we also carry out booked tours outside visiting hours

Almárium Museum

Karel Čapek once described Sobotka in his book Pictures from Home as a city of poets, teachers and cobblers. The fact that Sobotka was a city of poets is still taught to children in primary school today, and visitors can learn about the fact that it was a city of shoemakers and teachers in the Almário in Sobotka.

You will see the historical tools used by cobblers, find out what such a shop looked like during the first republic or experience what it was like to sit in a school desk from the first half of the 20th century. And the mono of another one.
